My BIOS is locked and useless, I cant find this feature during setup. The recovery (F9) does not pre-activate, because SLIC 2.1 is not present in the bios. I want upgrade to a SSD and need to active AHCI SATA mode. SLIC 2.1 is needed to pre-activate Windows 7. Searching the net I found this: Specially for HP users - Last laptops bios are mostly RSA signed, which means that once modded it can produce a semibrick when you enter bios setup. The model is G51Jx, but the mainboard was G60Jx.
